Frequently asked questions about researching programs

You have the right to know what a tool offers and where its limits are before using it. The tools here do not replace your decision.

What is the relationship between BölümRotası and Reflektif?

BölümRotası is a free course/program research tool supporting the Reflektif project. Reflektif offers a separate self-discovery journey around interests, personality, and values. You can use all the content and tools on this site without moving to Reflektif.

Can you tell me which program I should choose?

No. We compare courses, ways of learning, and sources. We do not generate scores, rankings, suitability percentages, or program recommendations. Reflektif is not a final decision or a guarantee of success or employment either.

Are the research files and experiments free?

Yes, BölümRotası does not require membership or payment. Reflektif is a separate product; check its current scope there for features beyond the free interest survey and first chat.

Are the experiments real university assignments or a test?

No. They are original editorial exercises. They do not measure ability, interest, or career suitability; do not draw conclusions from a single experience. Verify actual course content and assessment through the university’s official information package.

Are my notes stored or sent to Reflektif?

By default, they remain only in the memory of the open page. With an explicit choice, you can store the draft in this browser, then load or delete it. Notes are not sent to a server or to Reflektif. The share button copies only the general page link.

Is a program the same at every university?

No. The program’s official name, language, entry year, electives, and practical conditions may vary. Do not treat the sample institutional plans here as representative of all programs in a field. Check at least two official plans.

What should I do if the year in a course plan is old or not specified?

The last review date is not the plan’s effective year. Ask the university which entry-year students it applies to, and do not draw definitive conclusions before finding the current official plan.

How can I use this with my family or guidance counselor?

Choose a comparison, note the course you are curious about and the question you want to verify. Download it as text or print it as a PDF; review your notes before sharing. Use the file as a starting point for a conversation, not as proof of your decision.

Where can I find base scores, rankings, and official preference information?

We do not publish scores or rankings on this site. Check the current official guides from YÖK Atlas and ÖSYM; BölümRotası completes that research with course-experience information.

What can I do if I find an error in a source?

You can open your email app through the error-report link on the pages. Add the page address and the official correction link; do not send personal notes, student information, or sensitive data.
